What are the MAJOR changes in SEO

Google performs more than 3,200 algorithm updates annually. You can imagine, in 2021, a lot will change. Today, I’m going to break down the major SEO changes for 2021.

So what will happen in 2021?

Well, first of all, according to Jumpshot and SparkToro, 49% of all Google searches are no click results.

This means that nearly half of Google searches will never send traffic to any website. People either give up on searches or they get the answers at that time and from there from Google. In 2021, I expect that to increase even more.

The second big change is that the number of visitors people will get from organic traffic will continue to decrease.

Sure, it is being configured at the same time by more people coming online and using Google. But according to Merkle, total traffic from organic searches fell 6% year-over-year in the second quarter of 2019. Mobile was the hardest hit. Visits growth decreased by 13% in the first quarter of 2019 to 5% in the second quarter of 2019.

The third big change that I see is that Google will compete more with Amazon.

If you’ve already looked at Shopify, their company was in trouble, right? Shopify now, at least according to Wall Street, is an Amazon alternative. It’s your own way for anyone to create their own e-commerce store.

Google, already this year, or in 2019, released the Buy on Google feature, right? This enables people to purchase eCommerce products directly on Google.

The fourth change, more people will have the information they need through rich snippets.

According to a study by Path Interactive of 13-18-year-olds, 40% of them get the information they need from the snippet without clicking on it.

Now, that doesn’t mean we’re getting less traffic from Google and they’re sinister. Think of it this way, many of these people are just looking for an answer.

You’ll notice that Google is making more changes than just flights. Because they have been through this for a while.

By improving the user experience, for sure, you might get fewer traffic, but by providing a better experience from Google, more people will use Google, which will help you get more traffic. B, More people are coming online as well, which also helps you get more traffic. And C, a lot of those people for whom Google answers questions when they land on your website, don’t buy anything anyway.

So, what will you see a trend in 2021 as well? If Google answers people’s questions without them going to your website, the traffic you get should increase in conversion rates as well.

I don’t want to end things with you thinking Google is evil. Because they are not. It is actually a really good company. They have amazing perks, like giving their employees discounts and getting back money if they do things like drive a land-friendly car, right?

That’s cool, so I’d like to give you five tips to help you with all the changes Google is about to make.

My first tip for you is to become an expert in research intent disclosure.

See, most marketers are just looking for the keywords they should be targeting. It’s not about keywords, it’s about problems. When someone is looking for something, a lot of the time, they have questions, and they are looking for comparisons, right? Comparing one company to another to see which product or service should I buy? So, you can use Uber Suggest for that.

The second tip I would like to give you to increase your clickthrough rate. Write compelling headlines.

It’s all about getting people to click through to your list. Heck, even if you aren’t at the top, that doesn’t mean you can’t get more clicks than the above list. You can do things like create a compelling title, use keywords in your title that your competitors are not using, and write amazing meta descriptions that people want to click on and read.
